Beau DeMayo talks about Emma Frost!
The showrunner of X-Men #97 gives his opinion on the Ice Queen:
"...I think seeing Emma within the dichotomy of Magneto or Xavier, or a combination of both, is too binary and discredits what Emma represents: a third ideology that largely relies on self-realization and empowerment. Xavier's approach is about changing a world that hates/fears you. Magneto's thinking is about surviving in such a world. Emma's is about thriving in a world that will always hate you. In a way, Xavier is idealistic. Magneto is pessimistic. Emma is realistic.

He also clarified to someone that he doesn't hate Emma as it has been said on social media:
"Not really. I don't dismiss her. I started her journey towards the Emma we know and love from the comics. The last time we left her, she was a manipulative and selfish villain. Please stop attacking me."
The first season of X-Men 97' focuses on the duality between Magneto and Professor X's ideologies. Could there be some focus on Emma Frost in the second season?
