Acho que o corrreto seria: "Muito do que uma vez foi/existiu está perdido, pois agora nenhum agora vive pra se recordar/lembrar"

Mas não me lembro como está traduzido no filme.

Bem, como não sei falar quenya e sindarin não posso trancrever as minhas falas prediletas, mas gostei muito de todas as falas do Aragorn na língua dos primogênitos. Achei que o Legolas deveria falar algumas frases tb em sindarin, ficaria muito bonito.
Por outro lado, gostei muito do conselho de Elrond, qdo o Aragorn diz: "If by my life or death I can protect you, I will! You have my sord..." e Legolas:
" And you have my bow !" Muilto legal !!!!

E vc citou a fala do Gandalf quando o Pippin joga o esqueleto no poço como "Your Tûk fool." Está errado tb, a frase incusive não faz sentido desse jeito. O certo é "Fool of a Tûk!"

E a da Galadriel não é "I know what did you saw", tanto que está frase tem um erro de gramática grotesco. O certo é "I know what it is you saw..."

Sam - Just something about a ring, dark land and the end of the world.

"That is... I heard a big deal about a ring, a Dark Lord, and something about the end of the world..."

Gente... se vocês têm tanta dificuldade para transcrever as frases no original, porque não as colocam traduzidas mesmo???

Em tempo, a melhor frase do Gimli:

Na minha opinião, a melhor parte da narração da Galadriel no começo é a seguinte:

Também digno de nota - o primeiro diálogo entre Frodo e Aragorn:

Frodo: "What do you want?"
Aragorn: "A little more caution from you. That's no trinket you carry."
Frodo: "I carry nothing."
Aragorn: "Indeed."
