Li sobre esse Mouse Guard e fiquei morrendo de vontade de jogar, além de ler as tais revistas.




E sobre a premiação, fico me perguntando os critérios de avaliação. Com o verdadeiro Oscar eu já sei o que esperar dos resultados, agora, do Ennies... sei não.

o D&D 4 pode ser divertido dentro de sua proposta, mas sei lá cara... ele pode ser famoso, vender bem, mas não o colocaria como melhor rpg não... será que esse ano foi fraco?

Quero ver ano que vem. Pathfinder vai destruir tudo...

Quanto a esse ano, nao acho que ele tenha sido um ano fraco. Cada nova edição do D&D faz um bafafá no mercado, então o ennies baba-ovo da wizards nao poderia ter dado o premio pra nenhum outro.

Não se pode negar que o D&D4E foi um dos lançamentos mais importantes do ano, embora não necessariamente o melhor.
Eu acho que a 4E é um jogo bem desenvolvido dentro de sua proposta, criado com cuidado e com regras bem lapidadas. A polêmica é a proposta - cenas cinematográficas, combate mais estratégico, blocos codificados ao invés de texto puro, etc.
Agora, se merecia ganhar o prêmio... bem, ainda é só D&D. Nada revolucionário.

Depois de ler algumas resenhas, não sei se eu estou com tanta vontade de jogar o Mouse Guard. É uma proposta bem específica, e embora tenha algumas grandes sacadas o sistema me pareceu um pouco mais simples do que eu gostaria (simplesmente gosto pessoal). Mas ler as revistas, isso eu estou mais do que curioso...

Bom, inegável que, para a maioria do público RPGista o D&D é importante e é no mínimo favorito.

Cá entre nós: mesmo os que não gostam da 4e foram beneficiados: o movimento old school só ganhou força quando a 4e estourou. Mesmo os jogadores interessados em jogos de geração mais recentes ganharam o Pathfinder.

Mouse Guard me atrai não pelos prêmios que ele ganhou ou resenhas idolatrando-o. Mas sim porque Fantasia desse tipo me atrai desde pivete. De Redwall de Brian Jacques até O Vento nos Salgueiros trazem aquela fantasia meio-britânica, com pequenos animais, no campo enfrentando perigos fantásticos.

Na cabeça de muita criança é fácil projetar o mundo gigante ao seu redor. E, jogar RPG com ratinhos de certa forma expressa a mesma idéia de que os verdadeiros heróis da Guerra do Anel serem meros hobbits, por exemplo.

NAO joguei Mouse Guard, mas ja adaptei Redwall (que também são heróis-ratos) e é esse efeito que acrescenta muito à fantasia medieval e me agrada.
