With the fact that Peter Jackson may not direct The Hobbit still being a high possibility, IGN has listed some possibilities for the director position. Who do you guys think would be the best to take the reins? It's a difficult situation, especially when you look at Peter Jackson's track record prior to The Lord of the Rings films, nothing came close but do fans want to take a chance like that on The Hobbit or would they rather see someone who has already attempted large scale fantasy films? Either way, the most important aspect the director must have is most likely going to be a passion for the books, without this the film has no hope.
