It is with great satisfaction that I can finally reveal what TolkienGateway.net and TolkienLibrary have been working on for quite a while now, an online Release Party for The Children of Hurin. The event will be from April 15th to the 17th on irc.tolkiengateway.net and will include almost 30 prizes from 3 Deluxe editions of The Children of Hurin signed by Alan Lee and Christopher Tolkien, to official bookmarks and posters donated by Houghton Mifflin. There will also be over a dozen guests authors, artists, and various Tolkien celebrities stopping by for lectures and Question and Answer sessions.
