Eles podem usar qualquer lâmina leve, arma leve de arremesso, e bestas. É só pegar o talento (em geral para o sabre de uma vez, não tem sentido gastar um talento com espada longa). Acho que isso foi mais para incentivar os ladinos a usarem as armas mais tradicionais (não há vantagem em usar uma adaga no lugar de uma espada longa, que tem o mesmo bônus de precisão).
Mas eu acho que essa limitação atrapalha mesmo. E o pior, a multiclasse mal mal ajuda com isso...
É que a limitação é mais pra colocar cada um no seu lugar... se quer ser ladrão, use equipamentos e aja como um ladrão, não como um fighter "matreiro". Se tu quiser fazer um fighter "matreiro", faça um fighter com multiclass em rogue.
Eles podaram totalmente as opções. Fighter agora só pode ser o tanker. Não pode usar arco (nem é proficiente com ele!), não pode usar duas armas... Tirando o fato de usar escudo ou arma de duas mãos, os fighter acabam ficando muito iguais (os poderes podem ser outros, mas o feeling é sempre o mesmo).
