TV Game of Thrones (8ª temporada) - CONTÉM SPOILERS

Algumas peguntas que retirei desse site aqui

Um belo destaque pra pergunta 24

1. If they knew they couldn’t beat them in a straight fight why did they just send the Dothraki to their deaths?

2. Are all of the Dothraki dead?

3. But seriously, why just charge the Dothraki into darkness, completely outnumbered and beyond the protection of arrows and the castle defenses just to die?

4. How can the wights not break through a wooden crate in Season Seven but could break through stone crypts in Season Eight?

5. Why not face the army of the undead in the Eyrie, which has been established as the safest place in Westeros?

6. Literally no one thought the crypts might be a bad place to go?

7. Where did Arya come from when she killed the Night King?

8. Where was Ghost during the battle?

9. Where did Melisandre come from?

10. Why did she die?

11. What did she actually do?

12. So you’re telling me that the master plan to defend the living from certain doom was to ride the Dothraki to their deaths then wait behind the walls of a castle only protected by a small fire that the brainless undead wights could get through by piling their stupid bodies on top, while eight guys with arrows protect the one person who contains all the knowledge of human history?

13. If the wights can’t cross water why not build a moat?

14. Did the human army not plan for all of their casualties becoming wights? They’ve seen it happen before so presumably they should have been prepared for this to happen?

15. Did they prepare at all?

16. Are Little Sam and Gilly alive?

17. Why did Jon and Dany do literally nothing with their dragons?

18. Why didn't the Night King wait until everyone was dead then go get Bran?

19. Was there an undead Lyanna Stark, an undead Catelyn Stark, and an undead Ned Stark walking around somewhere?

20. So Bran’s only contribution to that entire battle was flying around with some birds?

21. Really was that it? After eight seasons and more than 70 hours of television where the ultimate antagonist was marching south, it was all resolved in one night, without giving the antagonist a clear motive or purpose?

22. We’re supposed to assume that in 10,000 years when the Three-Eyed Raven has fought the Night King presumably many times that the humans never came up with the plan to…stab the Night King?

23. This great war, the war to end all wars, the fight for the living, took only one night, killed none of our beloved main characters and was won by the Night King walking into the most obvious trap ever placed?

24. Does this mean winter is over after lasting a couple of days?

25. So, in other words, Cersei made the right call to stay out of this stupid battle up north and wait for these idiots to fight her with half an army and no Dothraki because they mindlessly sent them to their deaths?

26. If that’s the case, shouldn’t Cersei just win the Iron Throne because she’s clearly the only person with any brains in Westeros?

27. Does that make Arya Azor Ahai?

28. Is anyone the Prince that Was Promised?

29. Did any of the decades of clues and prophecies and storytelling matter in the end?

30. Would George R.R. Martin have wrapped everything up so neatly?

But seriously, why just charge the Dothraki into darkness, completely outnumbered and beyond the protection of arrows and the castle defenses just to die?

No NOW a qualidade está boa.

[06/05 à 10:58] Amanda Sessim: Para o programa hoje, meus pontos:
1. Prepararam terreno para Cleganebowl.
[06/05 à 11:01] Amanda Sessim: E ela tá claramente indo pra kings landing matar a cersei
Jon no dragão tá explicado.
Quem liga pra direitos hereditários a essas alturas?
E matar a daenerys.
[06/05 à 11:12] Amanda Sessim: E O PRINCIPAL. DESDE QUANDO O JON É MELHOR GOVERNANTE QUE ELA? QUE INSPIRA LEALDADE? ELA INSPIRA LEALDADE! ELE FOI MORTO PELOS SUBORDINADOS DELE!
[06/05 à 11:12] Amanda Sessim: Se tu olhar pra trás, esse papo todo NÃO se confirma AT ALL
[06/05 à 11:13] Amanda Sessim: Eles plantaram essas sementes no primeiro ep desta temporada

Game of Thrones George RR Martin is 'SAD' about how show ends: 'I would prefer THIS'
GAME OF THRONES author George RR Martin is "a little sad" about the way the HBO show will end the stories created in his Song of Ice and Fire books and would "prefer" it was done differently. But who is to blame?

Game of Thrones is drawing to a dramatic close on TV but for the first time audiences and critics are not united in adulation. Season 8 Epsiode 3's Battle of Winterfell is one of the lowest rated in the show's history with many comments agreeing the show has lost its bite, daring and focus. There is also discussion the show may be suffering from no longer being able to draw directly on Martin's unfinished source novels, while the author himself is also much less involved with the television show than he was in the opening seasons. In an interview with 60 Minutes he explained his input in the final season was limited to "several days of story conferences taking place in my home in Santa Fe, New Mexico."

Some storylines and characters have continued to diverge from the books and Martin has been more vocal about the subject recently, telling Rolling Stone: "Of course you have an emotional reaction. I mean, would I prefer they do it exactly the way I did it? Sure."

In another frank chat this week with Fast Company he revealed: "It can also be... traumatic. Because sometimes their creative vision and your creative vision don't match, and you get the famous creative differences thing — that leads to a lot of conflict."

And what are the things that upset him? And how much will actually be changed by the TV show in the grand epic finale?

Martin revealed one of his greatest frustrations: "You get totally extraneous things like the studio or the network weighing in, and they have some particular thing that has nothing to do with story, but relates to 'Well this character has a very high Q Rating so let's give him a lot more stuff to do.'"

The author had previously said he would have liked the show to run across more series, to give all his complex storylines room. Instead, the HBO team entirely removed some characters or reassigned storylines.

Martin said: “The series has been... not completely faithful. Otherwise, it would have to run another five seasons.”

In the new interview he added: "You know, it’s complex. I’m a little sad, actually. I wish we had a few more seasons."

Game of Thrones HBO George RR Martin not happy: 'THIS character has TOO MUCH screen time'
GAME OF THRONES author George RR Martin has accepted the HBO TV adaptation will be different from his books but is not happy with all the changes, including the new importance given to this popular anti-hero.

As the blockbuster reaches the end of its eighth and final series, Martin has started to let slip some of his biggest frustrations. He recently said: "It can also be... traumatic. Because sometimes their creative vision and your creative vision don't match, and you get the famous creative differences thing — that leads to a lot of conflict." The author says this can lead to "butting heads and clashing egos." Surprisingly, one of his biggest irritations concerns a very popular character.

Speaking to Fast Company in a new video interview Martin admits he understands he does not have control over the HBO series, but struggles when they make choices he would not have picked, especially when those decisions come from on high.

He said: "I don't mind being part of a team... but there's something in me that wants to be the captain of the team. When you're writing short stories and novels, yes you may have editors and all that, but essentially the writer is king. The writer decides how everything is going to be; people can give suggestions, and you can say yes or no to them. Now, when you get involved in television and film, um... you're working with a large team."

It's not the writers he has an issue with in this one particular case, it's the suits, the producers and studio heads who decide they want more of a certain character because they are popular with viewers.

Martin said: "You get totally extraneous things like the studio or the network weighing in, and they have some particular thing that has nothing to do with story, but relates to, 'Well this character has a very high Q Rating so let's give him a lot more stuff to do even though he's a rather unimportant character.'"

Even though the author tactfully doesn't name names, the video itself spells out who he means with a montage of Jerome Flynn's Bronn, who has a much smaller role in the novels.

This will shock fans, who love the roguish anti-hero who shares so much screen time with Tyrion and then Jaime Lannister. Of course, that may all change with what is coming next.

Eu não sei, "it was done differently" é um pouco diferente de "it was differently".

@Bel no caso estou me referindo naquela mensagem sobre:

Inclusive quando os nortenhos começam a gritar ''THE KING IN THE NORTH'' eles disseram especificamente: "qual rei a gente segue agora?
