Já viram a letra da música do Rush chamada Rivendell? Acho que descreve mto bem a cidade do Mestre Elrond! Além disso, a música em si é maravilhosa! Só o Geddy, Alex e Neil pra conseguir fazer algo tão bonito!

Então, essa música é realmente linda. Um violão dedilhado muito bonito e bem tocado, a voz suave do Geddy Lee e a letra perfeita para o tema fazem um clima perfeitamente de acordo com o da Última Casa Amiga a Lesta das Montanhas Sombrias. :wink:
 
Eu já havia aberto um tópico com essa letra, entre outras do Rush e do Led, aqui nessa área mesmo... só que foi fadado ao esquecimento, infelizmente.

Falando da música agora, composta por Geddy Lee, letra por Neil Peart, álbum Fly By Night, 1975, segundo álbum do Rush. Quem conhecia Tolkien na verdade era o Neil, eu não sei como o Lee conseguiu sozinho fazer uma música tão tolkieniana. Ela tem o espírito melancólico da Terra-média, parece que você é Bilbo Bolseiro.

Curiosidade: Neil Peart, responsável pela arte interna das capas dos discos, colocou algumas runas nesse álbum.
No álbum seguinte, o ex-vilão By-Tor, vindo diretamente do Fly By Night, derrota o necromante (Sauron) em "The Necromancer".
 
Era de se esperar. Ela nunca foi tocada num show. Deve ser porque é por demais melancólica, e talvez isso estivesse em desacordo com o clima do show.
 
Eu não conheço o Rush, mas acho essa música divina, está entre as minhas favoritas.
Ela consegue transmitir um clima de paz e tranquilidade mesmo para quem não entende a letra, apenas com a melodia.
