Conforme indicado no Forum dos Tolkienianos em Portugal, parece que há cenas da trilogia que poderão tornar os filmes ainda maiores do que as versões estendidas.
O site baseia-se numa fonte, o http://www.movieweb.com
As cenas serão:
- Famous footage of Arwen at Helm's Deep, cut by Jackson during a revision to the film's plot. Foreshadowing this sequence were scenes where Arwen and Elrond visit Galadriel at Lothlórien (seen in The Two Towers teaser trailer). The scene was edited down to a telepathic communication between Elrond and Galadriel.
- A line of dialogue during the death of Saruman, in which he reveals that Wormtongue poisoned Théodred, giving further context as to why Wormtongue kills Saruman and Legolas in turn kills Wormtongue.
- Further epilogue footage, including that of Legolas and Gimli, as well as Éowyn and Faramir's wedding and Aragorn's death and funeral.
- Faramir having a vision of Frodo becoming like Gollum.
- Dialogue from the Council of Elrond, such as Gandalf explaining how Sauron forged the One Ring.
- An unknown scene displayed in The Two Towers preview of Éomer lowering a spear while riding his horse.
- Éowyn defending the refugees in the Glittering Caves from Uruk-hai intruders.
- An obscure shot from the trailers of two Elven girls playing about in Rivendell.
- Sauron fighting Aragorn at the Black Gate. A computer-generated Troll was placed over Sauron due to Jackson feeling the scene was inappropriate. Sauron is also seen in a beautiful form as Annatar, giver of gifts.
- Also at the Black Gate sequence, Pippin was seen in the trailer holding a wounded Merry, a scene which takes place after the Battle of the Pelennor Fields upon Pippin discovering Merry under the oliphaunt.
Further scenes between Elrond and Arwen following her decision to stay with Aragorn. This is presumably set after the reforging of Andúril.
- More Arwen footage, including a flashback scene of her first meeting with a beardless Aragorn.
- Aragorn having his armour fitted during the preparations for the Battle of the Black Gate. This was the final scene filmed during principal photography.
- Footage of Sam confronting the Gate Watchers of Cirith Ungol.
An attack by Moria Orcs on Lothlórien. Jackson replaced this with a more suspenseful entrance for the Fellowship.
- Footage of Théoden proclaiming Éomer as his heir, reshot later on.
Será que terei de re-comprar outra vez a trilogia?

Edit: A Lista Completa:
THE LORD OF THE RINGS UNUSED SCENES
Peter Jackson has stated that he would like to include some of these unused scenes in a future "Ultimate Edition" home video release (probably high-definition) of the film trilogy. They will not be re-inserted into the movies but available for viewing separately. This edition will also include outtakes.
The Fellowship of the Ring
* A good deal of test shots showing early versions of Mordor, Mt. Doom, Orc Armies, and even Sam & Frodo looking out upon them.
* The forging of the One Ring.
* Additional footage from the Battle of the Last Alliance during the prologue including Gil-Galad and Elendil.
* Alternate narrations for the prologue performed by Elijah Wood and Ian McKellen.
* An obscure shot from the trailers of two Elven girls playing about in Rivendell.
* Scene mentioned in the commentary, about an animal disrupting Frodo and Sam while they sleep, after seeing the Wood Elves. Many animals were used, including rabbits and deer.
* Dialogue from the Council of Elrond, such as Gandalf explaining how Sauron forged the One Ring.
* An attack by Orcs from Moria on Lothlórien after the Fellowship leaves Moria and the following scene where the elves save them including a shot of many orcs pierced with arrows dead in the woods. Jackson replaced this with a more suspenseful entrance for the Fellowship. Much of the lost footage can be seen as promotional material on The Fellowship of the Ring theatrical DVD and tie-in books, documentary footage on the Extended Editions, and Trading Cards.
* Longer scene of Boromir trying to take the Ring.
* Frodo seeing more parts of Middle-earth when he put the Ring on.
* More battle footage from Parth Galen.
* An attack on Frodo and Sam at the river Anduin by an Uruk-hai.
The Two Towers
* More Arwen footage, including a flashback scene of her first meeting with a beardless Aragorn in the forest, when Aragorn calls her "Tinuvel". (seen in The Two Towers trailer).
* Faramir having a vision of Frodo becoming like Gollum.
* Footage of Arwen at Helm's Deep, cut by Jackson during a revision to the film's plot. Foreshadowing this sequence were scenes where Arwen and Elrond visit Galadriel at Lothlórien (seen in The Two Towers trailer). The scene was edited down to a telepathic communication between Elrond and Galadriel.
* Elrond's discussing with Celeborn about how the elves should proceed, including the line from the trailer, "If we do not trust to the strength of men, then we trust to the victory of Sauron".
* Arwen looking into the mirror of Galadriel (PJ said she was to have seen an image of Sauron in his physical form killing Aragorn at the black gate).
* Théoden speaking to the troops in the armoury, prior to the Battle of Helm's Deep.
* Éowyn defending the refugees in the Glittering Caves from Uruk-hai intruders.
* An unknown scene displayed in The Two Towers trailer of Éomer lowering a spear while riding his horse in a forest.
* Frodo and Sam fighting on the ground in Osgiliath (after Sam tackles Frodo away from the Ringwraith). The scene's fighting was deleted, but Frodo drawing Sting and pointing it at Sam after he is tackled was left in.
The Return of the King
* The original opening to ROTK, a dream-like sequence that contains a rapid zoom in to Edoras to wake a sleeping Aragorn.
* An alternate version of Gandalf / Pippin's departure to Minas Tirith, the famous "We shall see the shire again" scene.
* The alternate / original version of Gandalf / Pippin's arrival to Minas Tirith, when they see Faramir's company escaping Osgiliath and Gandalf comes to their resuce before entering the gate of Gondor. This is only a change in editing, and the only actual missing shot to our knowledge is a beautiful shot showing Pip / Gandalf looking at Minas Tirith, then the camera turning with their heads to change attention to Osgiliath.
* A line of dialogue during the death of Saruman, in which he reveals that Wormtongue poisoned Théodred, giving further context as to why Wormtongue kills Saruman, and Legolas in turn kills Wormtongue.
* Arwen looking through her bookshelves to find a book in which she reads about the Paths of the Dead, and likely additional dialogue between her and Elrond establishing the scene where there's a conversation between Elrond and Arwen in a library in Rivendell, after Arwen decides to wait for Aragorn. Elrond leaves, saying, "You gave away your life's grace. I cannot protect you anymore."
* An alternate or extended version of the Minas Tirith balcony scene, where Gandalf is quoted as saying "Sauron has hated men through the ages"....something also about a hatred that has filled the depths of the sea.
* A scene where two Rohan riders meet high atop a snowy hill, most likely part of the mustering of the Rohirrim.
* Sam using the Light of Eärendil against the "psychic barrier" created by the Watchers to pass at Cirith Ungol.
* Aragorn having his armour fitted during the preparations for the Battle of the Black Gate. This was the final scene filmed during principal photography.
* Sauron fighting Aragorn at the Black Gate. A computer-generated Troll was placed over Sauron due to Jackson feeling the scene was inappropriate. Sauron is also seen in a beautiful form as Annatar, Giver of Gifts.
* Also at the Black Gate sequence, Pippin was seen in the trailer holding a wounded Merry. PJ also mentioned that other cuts to the battle were made.
* The Hobbits' first view of the Shire on the return journey, seen from a hilltop that overlooks hobbiton.
* Additional dialogue in the Grey Havens. This includes Pippin asking Gandalf, "Do you have to go Gandalf?", with Gandalf replying, "My time here is over".
* A scene between Legolas and Treebeard, in which Legolas sings Treebeard a poem he wrote about the first waking of the trees.
* Further epilogue footage, including that of Legolas wandering in Fangorn, carrying only an elvish sword (which he never is seen with in the trilogy) and Gimli in the Glittering Caves examining a stone with a magnifying glass, as well as Éowyn and Faramir's wedding and Aragorn's death and funeral.
* Additional dialogue of Galadriel or (possibly a great deal) Frodo's voice over at the end of unused epilogue.<o></o>
