@Failivrin eu não gostei da música assim devagar, mas não dá pra negar o talento dela de fazer música com coisas tão inusitadas quanto um galão de água...

Calhou de ouvir 'Losing my Religion' do R.E.M. (Out of Time, 1991) e lembrar que ele tem um clipe bacanudaço, para os moldes da tosqueira generalizada da década de 1990.

Rever me trouxe boas lembranças, além de conseguir entender as referências a Da Vinci, Caravaggio e Michaelangelo embutidos no clipe, pois obviamente eu não tinha entendido a maioria delas com 10 anos de idade.

“Pautei a canção, pedindo que Gil e Capinam fizessem uma homenagem a Guevara e que tivesse essa frase, ‘Soy loco por ti America’, que, aliás, vim a saber que é errada em espanhol. Quando Célia Cruz foi gravar essa música, na verdade, inicialmente ela se recusou ao saber que era uma homenagem a Che Guevara. Mas, finalmente, quando veio ao Brasil, Célia resolveu gravá-la e mudou para ‘Estoy loco por ti America’. Então, acabamos fazendo uma canção em ‘portunhol’ já na primeira frase, mas, na época, não sabíamos disso. Dei essa frase a Gil e Capinam, pedi que fosse uma homenagem a Guevara e também dei outros palpites na letra. Como na época não podíamos botar o nome dele, já que a Censura iria vetar, usamos a frase ‘el nombre del hombre muerto’. Capinam fez uma coisa maravilhosa a partir de um desejo meu.”
